Sabina graduated from the Tatar State University of Humanities and Education in Kazan, Russia, and holds an MA in Slavic Languages and Cultures. She is currently a PhD student specializing in Russian phonology. She spent two years as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at the University of Notre Dame, where she taught Russian language and culture courses. Before moving to the United States, Sabina accumulated ten years of experience teaching English in Russia and Kazakhstan. Her goal as an instructor is to create a friendly, supportive classroom environment and to open the world of Russian language and culture to her students. Sabina is excited to teach in the Summer Language Workshop in 2026!
